The Rust Collection

The inspiration for the Rust Collection was a thought: Aging can be beautiful. Our society discards things when they are old and have served their purpose. But the thought didn’t spring into action until I was walking on some farmland and noticed the abandoned farm equipment that is resting in an equipment graveyard.

My eye went to individual elements and saw what beautiful images occur from the rust. This collection is my presentation of the beauty in aging.
